What is a GE box-type substation?

GE box-type substation is developed on the basis of transformers. GE box-type substation simplifies the structure of transformer cores, high-voltage load switches, fuses and other equipment into the same oil-filled iron box. The GE box-type substation is small in size and compact in structure, fully sealed and fully insulated structure, no insulation distance required, and personal safety ensured reliably. The high-voltage cable is connected to a casing with good insulation performance, and the casing is connected with the elbow cable plug to seal the live part in the insulator. The elbow cable plug can be plugged and unplugged when the transformer is fully loaded. It acts as a load switch.
